Aims
The Department of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations acts as the official interface of the University of Technology and the link between it and the various institutions of the State and society in general and educational institutions in particular to achieve a number of goals and summarize what follows
1. Achieve positive communication and cooperation with the institutions of the state and the different society and try to find formulas and mechanisms of mutual coordination with them to strengthen the role of the university in leading the process of reconstruction and construction in all sectors of our dear country
2. Enhancing the role played by the university in supporting the scientific research movement and supporting the cases of creativity and innovation in it
3. Documenting the activities and activities of the university from conferences, scientific and cultural seminars, seminars and visits of delegations to the university and preparing detailed reports thereon and sending them to the relevant authorities in the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.
4. The quest to establish scientific concepts and make them an essential tool in order to push the wheel of engineering development and scientific progress of the university to the ranks of developed countries
5. Create an extensive and comprehensive information base that allows colleges and departments in the university to create a clear and lasting picture of their scientific levels and indicators of progress
6. Achieving future plans in the field of education and scientific research in academic policy frameworks based on the need of the labor market
7. Follow up the admission of postgraduate students and the duration of their studies and their graduation from foreign universities and communicate with the cultural departments abroad and follow up the ministry's books and circulate them to the university departments, centers and departments.
8. Issuing university orders for tuition, diplomas, and academic leave outside Iraq, and scholarships and scholarships
9. Work on concluding agreements and memorandums of understanding between our universities and Iraqi, Arab and foreign universities, signing them and following up the implementation of their provisions
10. Organizing the academic, scientific and scientific information files of university students admitted to postgraduate studies (master's and doctorate) outside of Iraq
11. Follow-up the books received from the Ministry containing all the instructions and admission regulations in postgraduate studies and circulate them to the university departments and departments to work under them
12. Issuing university orders for the granting and extension of study leave and completion of the studies of students of preliminary studies (bachelor) accepted within the channel of excellence
13. Working on opening channels of communication with professors abroad and studying the possibility of hosting them.
